Our Mission
Spreading opportunity and accessibility to quality education, mentorship, and resources.
Sarbat da Bhala, meaning for the good of all, is a core Sikh belief.
We at the Sikh Education and Technology Foundation believe that everyone should have equitable opportunities and access to quality education and technology — as life-long learning allows one to widen wisdom, live an honest life, and further serve others.
We achieve this mission by awarding scholarships to exemplary students seeking higher or extended education. Additionally, we award financial grants to academic and tech-based development programs promoting quality education and opportunities.
Our Values
The Sikh Education and Technology Foundation emphasizes seva (selfless service) and truly believes education equips us with the skills and knowledge to better serve our communities and the greater world around us.
We reinforce some of Sikhi’s core virtues:
Sat (truth) — living an honest, respectful life.
Daya (compassion) — being kind and gracious to others — service.
Santokh (contentment) — accepting our life with gratitude, letting go of greed.
Nimrata (humility) — being humble and a life-long learner.
Pyaar (love) — love and peace for all.
We encompass these 5 values into our foundation by operating as a non-profit organization and staying true to our core beliefs.
We strive to make education, technology, and professional opportunities accessible to all, no matter your social, family, occupational, political, religious, (or any other) status(s).
